(More customer reviews)We bought this TV to fit a designated space in our RV. It was the largest size that would fit, which it does very nicely. The picture is almost as sharp as larger (& much more expensive)TVs, with a standard Direct TV receiver for the program source. Color rendition is excellent. With a 1080i DVD source the picture is even a bit sharper. (I haven't yet tried it with a 1080p source.) The RV is equipped with a 5.1 sound system that the TV operates satisfactorily, so I have not evaluated the TV's sound qualities.
The included instruction manual is excellent, every bit as comprehensive as the one accompanying my large Samsung TV.
Frankly, I had never heard of AOC and would not have considered this TV had Consumer Reports not have rated it above the similar ViewSonic receiver that I was prepared to purchase. If this set proves to be reliable, I think it was a good choice.
