I am very happy with this item. I had a spot that couldn't accomodate a large TV and after comparasion shopping..this was the model. I was hesitant to have it sent by mail but it arrived securely and was not left at the door.

The Sharp is very easy to set up. It detected all my cable channels. The manual was easy to use also. I am very impressed with the picture quality. It's very "sharp" and clear. The color is amazing. I'm very happy with my purchase. Thanks!

Product Description:
Add brilliantly vivid high-definition programming to your bedroom, office, or other small room in your home with the 20-inch, HD-ready Sharp LC20D30U LCD TV. It features an integrated 180-channel NTSC tuner for standard definition broadcasts and it can display HD programming when connected to a satellite/cable set-top box or optional HD tuner. The LC20D30U can also be used as a PC monitor. It has a contemporary and elegant design with a matte black finish and included table stand that easily removes for wall-mounted applications.
This set features Sharp's proprietary Advanced Super View (ASV) LCD panel technology, which uses an enhanced color filter that permits more light throughput. The screen also offers a low-reflection coating to reduce the effect of sunlight and interior lighting to provide vivid large-screen pictures wherever you install your LCD television.
The LC20D30U delivers a true 1366 x 768-pixel HDTV resolution, and it also features a wide 170-degree viewing angle, 480 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating--perfect for viewing colorful details in even direct sunlight--and 800:1 contrast ratio. (The higher the contrast ratio, the greater a TV's ability to display subtle color details and not get washed out by ambient room light.)
It has two bottom-mounted stereo speakers that produce 4.2 watts of total audio power (2.1 watts per channel). Other connection options include:

    Composite AV (RCA): 2 in
    S-Video: 1 in
    Component Video: 1 in
    HDMI: 1 in
    RF: 1 in
    PC: 1 analog RGB in

Tech Talk
HDMI is a lossless, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface to link any audio/video source (such as a set-top box, DVD player, or AV receiver) with your TV--all over a single cable. HDMI supports standard, enhanced or high definition video, plus multi-channel digital audio on a single cable. It supports all ATSC formats--standard (SDTV), enhanced (EDTV), and high (HDTV).
Component video (also called Y/Pb/Pr) features a three-jack video input, which provides separate connections for luminance (Y), blue color difference (PB) and red color difference (PR). This results in increased bandwidth for color information, resulting in a more accurate picture with clearer color reproduction and less bleeding than you would get with S-Video or composite (RCA yellow video plug) connections. You will need a separate RCA left/right audio cable for sound.
